Who we are

We believe education is about living people, not products or data points. Our network of educators, parents, social entrepreneurs and researchers are creating a socially mobile, empowering culture of change within education. Opportunities for change exist in every school and community. We are here to support you in designing, creating and launching your education project; be it a progressive nursery school, home and community education programme, or micro-school.

"The world is undergoing revolutionary changes; we need a revolution in education too. Like most revolutions, this one has been brewing for a long time, and in many places it is already under way. It is not coming from the top down; it is coming, as it must do, from the ground up." -Sir Ken Robinson, Creative Schools: The Grassroots Revolution That's Transforming Education

Our Ethos

For us, childhood is the time not for competitiveness but for self discovery, developing curiosity, confidence and the skills to become active participants in a democratic society.

Our Mission

We empower and celebrate the work of those who are working with children in ways that connect us to nature and to each other.

Our Vision

A future where place-based & nature-based education is the norm, where communities are thriving & where children are treated with care & respect, by & for people who love their community.

Small & Wild is a brand new herbal tea created especially with children in mind. The four delicious herbal infusions in the range have been lovingly crafted to create flavours that kids love, along with enticing smells and colours that will get their taste buds and imaginations excited.

Each tea is packed full of brilliant ingredients - from fruits to flowers and herbs – which are carefully placed into biodegradable pyramid tea bags allowing the full flavour to be released. The teas are 100% natural, ethically sourced and caffeine free, with no added sugar or nasties, making Small & Wild a really wholesome drink for children. All blends are super tasty either served warm or cold brewed.

Small & Wild founders and tea aficionados, Becky Coletto & Kate Towers, were frustrated by the lack of healthy drinks available for young children. Both Mums loved nothing more than sitting down for a lovely cuppa. One day, whilst doing exactly this, they were inspired to create a range of herbal teas for children, knowing that this would provide a low sugar, yet completely natural way for kids to stay hydrated. Small & Wild also gives children a chance to take a breather and join in the comfort of having a great cup of tea.

ChicP was founded on a passionate commitment to reducing food waste. Supporting British farmers by using fruit and vegetables that are not seen 'fit' for supermarket use. These include vegetables that are out-grades, mis-shapes or class 2. ChicP use raw ingredients that come from surplus such as this to create their tasty houmous and falafels.

Food waste is part of modern life, but it need not be this way. ChicP's ethos is to be part of the drive to encourage people to think differently about the way they eat. This includes working with children and families to reduce food waste.

This is why ChicP is partnering with the Nurture Family, including Nature Nurtures, to teach children how to be sustainable, reduce waste and eat fresh, delicious food. Join us to help spread the word!
